TMNT: BABY
PART II: DAY OF THE ARRIVAL

SUMMARY: BEFORE THEY KNOW IT, AKIRA IS READY TO GIVE BIRTH TO THE BABY, BUT CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL, SO LEO AND THE TEAM ARE LEFT TO HELP HER GIVE BIRTH.
WARNING: THE BIRTH OF THE BABY IS IN THIS CHAPTER, AND IT PLAYS OUT IN IT TOO. FOR ANYONE WHO IS DISTURBED READING STORIES THAT HAVE BIRTHS PLAYED OUT IN THERE, SKIP TO THE 2ND DIVIDING LINE. ALSO, THERE IS A MENTIONING OF LABOR, BUT IT IS SHORT.
THIS PART IS STILL DEDICATED AND CREDITED TO LILYPILLY, WHO CREATED THE 4 IMAGES ( IT WOULD'VE BEEN 5 SINCE 1 OF THE BABY IMAGES DOESN'T HAVE AIKO/THE BABY IN IT, BUT HAS RAPH AND A WRITTEN OUT CHARACTER IN THERE) THAT I THOUGHT DESERVED A FANFICTION. ENJOY PART II.
CHAPTER 1: THE DAY OF THE BABY[]
THE NIGHT IS CALM, quiet, and slow for Leonardo, who found out his wife was due to give birth to a baby soon almost 11 months ago. The blue-masked turtle is suddenly woken up by Akira.
"Akira?" Leo asks, exhausted. "Why are you up at 2:00 in the morning?"
He sees a pained look on her face.
"What's wrong? Does your stomach hurt?" Leo asks.
"No. The baby's ready to come out!" Akira says painfully.
"Are you serious?!" Leo says. "How?!"
"These papers are from almost 11 months ago. It's the end of this month, and I'm feeling like this baby's going to burst right out unexpectedly!" Akira says stressed.
"Can you make it to a hospital?!" Leonardo asks her.
"I....don't think I can!" she says, with a stroke of pain striking her again.
"Uh, uh.....I'll call the others!" Leonardo says. he quickly dials up Donnie's number to inform them of the emergency.
"Donnie! Donnie!" Leo shouts through the phone, which wakes up Donnie and Venus.
"Leo?" Donnie asks.
"The baby's ready to come out! We need you guys over here now!" Leo screams.
"We'll be right there!" Don says, trying to calm Leo down, but Leo hangs up.
"Venus, the baby's coming!" Donnie says.
"You're kidding!" Venus says.
"Let's wake Mikey and Hikari!" Donnie says.
"Yeah!" Venus says.
The two run out of their room on the left wall to Mikey and Hikari's room on the right wall, which is next to Raph and Hikari's room.
"Mikey! Mikey!" Donnie says.
"He won't wake up!" Venus says.
"Wait, I got it!" Donnie says. He clears his throat, and then.....
"GET UP!" Donatello screams.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Mikey screams, which in turn, wakes up Hikari.
"Not cool, man! That startled me!" Mikey says, slapping Donnie's shell.
"Mikey, Akira's giving birth to the baby right now! We have to get to their home!" Donnie says.
"I'll get Raph!" Mikey says, and gets out of his bed to wake Raph.
"Raph! Raph! Raph! Raph! Raph! Raph! Raph! Raph! Raph! Ra-" Mikey screams.
Before he can finish the 10th "Raph!", Raph grabs Mikey's neck.
"I'M GONNA-" he starts, but before he can attack Mikey, the two look at Mona, who is thinking Raph's going to kill Mikey, a shocked look plastered on her face.
"-put you back on the ground." he calmly says as he sets Mikey down.
"What is it now that's so important?" Raph asks.
"Akira's giving birth!" Mikey says.
"Okay, we gotta wake Splinter!" Raph says, and runs out of the room to wake Splinter.

Later, with Splinter and April O'Neil, the Turtles team arrives at Leonardo and Akira's home.
"Akira? Leo? Where are you guys?" Donnie asks.
"We're in the garage!" Leo screams. "Get in the Shellraiser!"
With everyone inside the van, it speeds off toward the hospital.
Leonardo helps Akira into her hospital bed, and, with the help of doctors, prepares her for a normal birth.
"Come on, Akira, you can do it!" Leo says. "Just push!"
"I'm trying!" Akira says, with the others pacing or sitting on chairs
"Akira, Akira, just think of people like Lou Ferrigno." Leo tells Akira. "Think of strong people. You've gotta be strong like them."
"I'm trying." She repeats, screaming in agony.
"Leo, is there any way we can help?" Don asks over Akira's screaming.
"Soon." Leo tiredly commands.
"Keep going, Akira! Don't stop!" April says.
"You can do it, Akira-san." Splinter says.
"Oh, this REALLY hurts!" Akira shouts, yelping in pain.
After an hour of screaming, Akira feels the baby ready to come out immediatly.
"Guys! I think the baby's ready to come right out now!!!!!" Akira says.
"Just one more! All I need is one more go!" April says.
"Leo! Wake up!" Akira says.
"WHOWHATWHEREWHENWHYHOW!" Leo screams when he shoots up from his slumber. "What's happening?"
"It's coming!" she painfully says.
"I got it, Don." Leo says.
"Ready, Akira?" he asks. "One big one. 1, 2, 3, GO!" he shouts.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAHHHHHHH!" Akira screams, and the baby has offically been born.
The baby, covered in blood and fluid, is pulled out by the doctors.
"I got you, you're OK, you're OK." Dr. Jackson says, trying to soothe the horrified baby, who wants to escape the freezing cold of the air, and re-enter the warm, quiet atmosphere of Akira' s stomach. The baby is forced down onto a freezing cold metal table for a quick cleaning, making the same crying noise with the ice cold hose's blasting water freezing its green skin.
"Ma'am, we have to test your baby." Dr. Carter says, and leaves the room with no explanation.
"I can't believe that I'm finally a father." Leo exclaims, amazed. "Now, we're not alone."
"I know." Akira responds, panting in relief.
Suddenly, Leo's T-Phone alerts him of imminent danger, when suddenly, a yellow wave strikes the team, striking the baby too, it's body pushed off of the scanner bed. With its eyes closed, the whimpering baby turtle tries to slink out of the room, the blinding lights preventing it from knowing it's whereabouts.
"Here, it's okay, little turtle." Dr. Carter says, picking the turtle off of the floor and back into the scanner.
"What was that?" Mona says.
"Judging from the polarity," Donnie theorizes, "it's an age-stopper."
"Oh, no." Leonardo says to himself.
"What's wrong?" Akira asks her husband, while her stomach is being sewn.
"It must've gotten the baby." Leo finishes, looking out the window to see a silhouette of Shredder holding a laser, and then walking away.
"Shredder." Leo snarls silently.
During the scanning, a doctor came to sew Akira's stomach back together.
Right then, Jackson and Carter enter the room, the naked baby crying and squirming in Jackson's arms.
"You have a hybrid boy." Carter explains.
"How?" Hikari asks the doctor.
"Because Leonardo is 100% animal, and his wife 100% of her specimen, their genes replicated to create a 46% alien and 54% animal baby turtle boy."
"Can he breathe yet?" Akira says.
"We'll incubate him, but we'll roll it in here." Jackson says, and then taking the baby into the baby care section.
Later, the incubator- the wailing baby inside- is rolled into the hospital room. The baby turtle is a little bigger than the size as the TMNT when they were 1, which was the size of a baby turtle. His skin is darker than Akira's, but lighter than Leo's, has 3 toed feet (the TMNT 2012 feet, no toenails on all four, you TMNT-Should-Have-Finger/Toe-Nails fanatics, which goes for all TMNT characters) on all four legs (the baby can only crawl on all fours as the TMNT did as babies), has small legs, and a small tail.
The baby keeps wailing, which then concerns Akira.
"Leo? I'm beginning to think the baby's having a problem."
"He doesn't show signs of a disorder , so he's just really terrified. I was absolutely terrified of Splinter before I realized that he was my father."
"Will he stop soon?" Akira asks, and then the baby stops weeping, and falls to sleep.
"It looks like he did." chuckles Leo.
"Good night, my sleepy boys." Akira whispers, kissing her husband's forehead, and petting the baby's head, going to sleep soon afterwards.
The baby was born exactly at 2:00 AM, on May 21st, 2013, weighing only 36 ounces.
